Sealing an item will add another mod to it, but prevents any future crafting changes on the item.

Seals can be special mods.

  • Sealing a non-rare item will upgrade its rarity.

Seals available are:

  •  % Chance for Better/More items ( iLvl 4+ )
  •  % Experience bonus ( iLvl 1+ )
  •  % Chance for Challenge Tokens on Kill ( iLvl 7+ )
  •  % Chance for Ancient Neural Nets on Kill ( iLvl 6+ )
  •  % Increase to building materials ( iLvl 1+ )

Cost[]

Sealing an item consumes Ancient Processors. The cost scales exponentially with item level.

v0.47: Common/uncommon items cost 25%/50% of base cost to seal.

Slot also affects cost. Compared to base:

  • Two-handed: 2.5x
  • Helmet, Back and Wrist: 0.5x
  • Jewelry: 1.5x
  • Waist: 0.1x
